Garlic Cream Cheese Spread

So many of us rely on eating breads or sandwiches , before rushing out to office . And it's pretty common to apply some sort of spread on your sandwiches and toasts. Well since we all love that cheesy and comforting flavors of store bought spreads, we can recreate these flavors right within your own kitchen and enjoy this delicious spread on toasts and sandwiches. The aroma of the herbs in this spread makes it extra special and you can trust me on this one , your kitchen will be filled with very soothing fragrances .Hope you guys give it a try
Preparation:
1. Soak handful or about 20 raw cashews in water and leave it for at-least 30 mins
2. Rinse and pat dry about half a block of tofu (approx 150 g)
3. In a blender , add these cashews, tofu, juice of about 1/2 lemon, 2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 2 cloves of garlic blend. If you like extra garlic flavors by all means add an extra clove or two. Blend until you get a smooth and creamy consistency
4. Now in a mixing bowl , empty the contents of the blender and add 1 teaspoon salt, and half a teaspoon of black pepper powder and 3-4 teaspoons of nutritional yeast to give it that cheesy flavor that we all like so much. If you like more spicy spread , you can add 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
5. Next finely chop Dill, Mint and Basil. All herbed combined should be at least be about small bowl's worth
6. Gently fold in all these herbs in the spread till everything is well combined and then cover it and let it rest for at least 30 mins to let all the flavors infuse into the spread.
Garnish:
This spread can be enjoyed on the toast or sandwich and enjoyed as breakfast or evening snacks
