Baking Bread ...

This is a recipe i learned very recently. Baking a whole wheat brown bread at home can be so simple, I could hardly ever imagine, before I did it myself. All i really needed was some elbow greese and lo and behold the final product was so totally worth it

So much further ado here are all the steps


1. Take about 0.5 bowl of lukewarm water (make sure the water is not too hot or boiling) and add about 1 tea spoon of sugar.

2. Add 1 pack of instant or active yeast and set the water for approximately 5 minutes to let the yeast get activated

3. Next step is to take about 2 cups of whole wheat flour and add a teaspoon of salt and 2-3 teaspoon of oil

4. Now used the yeast water to make a soft dough from the dry flour. If the yeast water is not enough you can use either coconut milk or water to continue. ( Make sure that the dough is very soft even to the point of being sticky).

5. Now all we need is a bit of patience. Simply cover this dough and let is rest for 1 hour.

6. Once the dough has completely risen, take it out of the bowl and knead it once again to move all the air bubbles out .

7. Put the dough in a bread pan and cover the pan with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 30 more minutes.

8. Pre heat the oven and uncover the dough. By this time the dough is risen and ready to be popped into the oven. Add some sesame seeds on the top of the dough

9. Bake this in the oven for 20 mins for about 180 C

10. Let it cool and it is ready to be served.
