Navratra is the special occasion of festivities of nine days in many Indian households. It is special occasion when people fast for 9 days and worship the 9 avatars of Goddess Shakti. This recipe is so easy to put together and goes so well along the mood of the season. All we need is to presoak a cup of tapioca pearl in water overnight and they will be ready to use the next day.
Preparation:
1. In a pan heat about a tablespoon of any vegetable oil on medium flame
2. Once the oil is heated sufficiently add the cumin seeds and once they start to splutter add green chillis
3. Them put in about half potatoes thinly sliced and then add peanut to shallow fry them
4. Next add the tapioca pearl (drain out all the excess water) and add some rock salt and black pepper
5. Now all the magic is done , we just need to cover the pan and cook the khichdi on low flame for just about 5-7 minutes
Garnish with some fresh coriander leaves and serve hot .
